  1. Welcome To WILM All Night Prayer Meeting (Jan 26, 2007) Why All Night Prayer Meeting • Jesus did it at a time when he had to make a major decision, choosing his apostles. • To be filled with the Holy Spirit, this is call Tarrying. • Prayer some time requires labouring, persistent prayer. Tonight I will be sharing Prayers according to the Gospels

  2. Prayer Jesus Prayer All Night Luke 6:12 - 13 (NKJV) 12.Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. 13.And when it was day, He called His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles:

  3. Prayer Jesus Prayer Until Evening Matthew 14:22 - 23(NKJV) 22.Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away. 23.And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there.

  4. Prayer Persistent Prayer Luke 18:1 - 9(NKJV) 1.Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, 2.saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. 3.Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ 4.And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, 5.yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’” 6.Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. 7.And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8.I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” 9.Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

  5. Prayer Jesus & Disciples Prayers At Gemsemane Matthew 26:36 - 45(NKJV) 36.Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, “Sit here while I go and pray over there.” 37.And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. 38.Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.” 39.He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” 40.Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? 41.Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 42.Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.” 43.And He came and found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy. 44.So He left them, went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. 45.Then He came to His disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.

  6. Prayer Tarry In Prayer For Power Luke 24:44 - 49 (NKJV) 44.Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.” 45.And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures. 46.Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, £and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47.and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48.And you are witnesses of these things. 49.Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city £of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”

  7. Prayer Model Prayer Matthew 6:9 - 13 (NKJV) 9.In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10.Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 11.Give us this day our daily bread. 12.And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. 13.And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

  8. Prayer Jesus Prayer For The Obedient John 14:15 - 18 (NKJV) 15.“If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16.And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17.the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18.I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

  9. Prayer Jesus Unity Prayer (John 17) John 17:9, 15, 20 & 21 (NKJV) 9.“I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. 15. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. The Holy Bible, King James Version 20.“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21.that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

  10. Pray for your enemies Prayer Matthew 5:43 - 45 (NKJV) 43. “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44. But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45. that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

  11. Prayer Pray For Soul Winners Matthew 9:35 - 38 (NKJV) 35.Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. 36.But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37.Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38.Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

  12. Prayer End Times Prayer Luke 21:29 - 36 (NKJV) 29.Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. 30.When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. 31.So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. 32.Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. 33.Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. 34.“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35.For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36.Watch therefore, and pray always that you may £be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

  13. Prayer Hypocritical Prayer Matthew 6:5 - 8 (NKJV) 5. “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 6. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you £openly. 7. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. 8. “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.

  14. Prayer Unforgiveness Hinders Prayer Mark 11:25 (NKJV) 25.“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. 26.But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”

  15. Prayer Self Righteous Prayer Luke 18:9 - 14(NKJV) 9.Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: 10.“Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11.The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. 12.I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ 13.And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ 14.I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

  16. Prayer The Prayer Of Faith Mark 11:22 - 24(NKJV) 22.So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23.For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24.Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
