S of D Review • First of 2 DST slots • JSP 917 is dead long live BRd 2806(5) • Published Feb 15 • Available to hold within branches • Read in conjunction with JSP 433 MOD Diving Safety Policy • Developed jointly over 7 months by the Joint Service Sub-Aqua Diving • Policy Advisory Committee • All parties have had the opportunity to contribute – all got 98% + • It is a living document and will be reviewed every autumn • It can be amended in the interim – DST website / Bovi Bulletin

Andark specific CF (SCC) requirement for 2015 delivered as a DST prog risk

S of D Review • Safety developments in 2015 • 30m+ diving - increase in number of days before break from 3 – 4 • days - Agreed • 3 dives in 24 hour > 3 dives in calendar day – under consideration • Reduction in Air Depth from 50m to 40m (All diving not just AT) • Standardisation of risk for all divers • +ve will remove requirement for chambers for shallower dives • -ve will require chamber on site for deeper dives which might • effectively preclude deep diving
