  2. Equal comparisons • To compare similarities between people and things, we use these phrases: • 1. Tan+ adjective or adverb + como= as…as • Example: • La pizza estansabrosacomo la hamburguesa. • The pizza is as tasty as the hamburger.

  3. Equal comparisons Tanto (s, os, as) + noun + como= as many/much….as Example: La sopatienetantapimientacomosal. The soup has as much pepper as salt. Tantocomo… = as much…as Example: Yococinotantocomotú. I cook as much as you.
