  3. Thanksgiving is the feast created in the autumn of 1621 by the Pilgrims. Thanksgiving is made up of two words: THANKS and GIVING. So it means the Pilgrims gave thanks to God for their first harvest. What is really Thanksgiving?

  4. The Trip The Pilgrims (a hundred and two passengers) left Engand on September, 6th 1620 with the Mayflower, it was a ship and her destination was Virginia. During the travel, the Pilgrims suffered injuries, they were bored and seasick and in the top of that they didn't have any privacy. The Pilgrims inted to settle in Virginia. But before, they stopped in Newfoundland for fresh water and supplies before sailing south again for Virginia.

  5. In the New World They land at Cape Cod in Massachusetts Bay area on November 11st, 1620 after 65 days of navigation , where native people called Wampanoag already lived . The Pilgrims arrived in the New World during the winter, making it very difficult for them to find food and built shelter. Most of the passengers failed to survive the first few months in their new home. But the native people shared their knowledge of local crops and navigation and helped the colonists survive. And finally for celebrated the colony's first successful harvest, the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag celebrated the first Thanksgiving.

  8. As a conclusion At Thanksgiving, Americans can do a lot of things. All Americans try to get home for Thanksgiving. So Thanksgiving is a bigger holiday than Christmas.
