Multi-piece Installation Instructions

Follow these step-by-step installation instructions for the Multi-Piece Safety Wrap. Begin by leaving 6 extra inches of length and placing the wrap sections on the pipe, connecting them by snapping opposing tabs together. Use your hands to slap the sections securely. Rotate the sections down the pipe using handles for proper alignment, then slide the smart bands over each section, leaving them loose. Finally, secure the wrap by pulling the bands tight. Overlapping may occur based on coating thickness, but it will not affect performance.   1. SAFETY WRAP Multi-piece Installation Instructions

  2. Install 3 “smart bands” on the pipe. Leave 6 extra inches on the length

  3. Place sections of wrap on the pipe and snap together opposing tabs. Can be snapped together by slapping with hands

  4. Using handles rotate sections down the pipe to install next

  5. Slide bands over sections, leaving loose

  6. Rotate and connect final section

  7. Pull bands tight to secure wrap in place. Note: Wrap may overlap slightly depending coating thickness. This will not effect performance
