  2. The Southwest Region Monarch award submittal package must be submitted electronically using the attached template. All projects must have been completed after January 1, 2007. Complete a submittal package for each project that you have registered. Email your completed PowerPoint package to carla@cefpi.org. Be sure to mark “SW Monarch Award” in the subject line. Submissions are due August 20, 2010. INSTRUCTIONS: Modify this template to include photos, charts ,mages , data and narrative as identified on each ppt slide. Duplicate slides if necessary. Downsize all photos to 72 dpi screen resolution. Remove this checklist from your final submittal package. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING Photos. Select up to ten photos per project. Please include interior and exterior photos with photo captions. If your project is a renovation, please include before and after photos. Firm name may not appear on photos. Site Plans/Floor Plans. Duplicate slide if necessary. Firm name may not appear on site plans/floor plans. Project Narrative. Provide a narrative description of the project that highlights exceptional features, discusses specific challenges presented, how those challenges were met, and any other points of significance. Do not to exceed 2 pages total. Project Budget. Please provide document(s) showing project budget, as well as verification that project was completed within the limits of approved budget. Project Details Form. Educational Specifications or Program of Requirements document, including a short summary of state/provincial guidelines. ADDITIONAL DATA REQUIRED Project Data Form. This information will be confidential and removed from information given to jury. Photo Release Form. An original signed copy must be submitted to allow us to reprint photos in the conference program, on the region web site, or to be used in future marketing pieces. Please include one release per project. Photo Release: (Return SIGNED copy with your submittal) Print, Sign, Scan and Submit with Package Name of Project: Location of Project: CEFPI has our permission to: • Send photos electronically to jury members (required for entry). • Display photos in the award winners’ area of the website, if selected as a finalist. • Display photos on other sections of the website as representative CEFPI projects. • Print photos in CEFPI newsletters. • Print photos on CEFPI marketing materials, i.e. brochures , awards, call for entries, etc. • Print photos and project details in the CEFPI Design Portfolio, if selected as a finalist. • Special projects with prior permission. Please Note: CEFPI maintains an in-house archive of school designs as part of our research library. Your information will be entered and recorded as one of those designs.
