This presentation outlines the current HIV/AIDS profile in Malawi, highlighting significant disparities among high-risk groups. It presents sobering statistics, such as a 69% prevalence rate among female sex workers and lower rates among male vendors. The discussion focuses on critical factors contributing to the spread of HIV, including multiple partnerships, intergenerational sex, and socio-economic inequalities. Strategies to improve awareness and increase access to ART for those in need are essential to combat this ongoing public health crisis.
