  11. PERFECT CADENCE Sounds as though the music has come to an end. Formed by chords V - I PERFECT CADENCE Sounds …………………………………………………………………………………… PLAGAL CADENCE ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… Also sounds finished. Plagal cadences are often used at the end of hymns (A-men). Chords IV - I
