  3. Average number of career / paid firefighters on-duty available to respond to an emergency

  4. The City of Turlock Currently has 9 line personnel (4 engines staffed with 2, and 1 Battalion Chief) Available to respond to Emergencies

  5. Number of on-duty career / paid personnel assigned to an engine / pumper

  6. The City of Turlock Currently Has A minimum Staffing Level of 2 per ENGINE ! Placing the City in the lower 10 % of the national average

  7. Number of on-duty career / paid personnel assigned to a ladder / aerial

  8. The City of Turlock Currently does not have the staffing capability to staff the Aerial Truck. 0 Staffing on the Truck Placing the City in the lower 10 % of the national average

  9. Number of fire stations, Number over 40 years old,Number having backup power,Number equipped with exhaust emissions control (Diesel Exhaust Extraction)

  10. The City of Turlock Currently has 4 Stations that are minimally staffed

In 1995 the City of Turlock needed to increase fire staffing by 50% to come up to the NFPA Recommendations • In 2004 the City of Turlock needed to increase its staffing by 95% to come up to the NFPA Recommendations • Now in 2005 the City of Turlock needs to increase its staffing by 102% to come up to the NFPA Recommendations
