In this session, participants will explore critical elements of effective HIV prevention strategies. Attendees will practice locating technical resources and identify successful activities from their experience in community interventions. Key discussions will focus on national prevention targets, including PEPFAR goals, and the importance of addressing high-risk populations and specific risk factors. Evidence-based interventions, such as PMTCT, condom distribution, ART access, and voluntary medical male circumcision, will be highlighted. Participants will learn to distinguish promising activities that meet minimum standards in HIV prevention.
