  2. Petra Petra is a historical and archaeological city in the southern Jordanian governorate of Ma’an that is famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system. Another name of Petra is the Rose City due to the color of the stone out of which it is carved. Petra has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. it is described as ” a rose-red cityhalf as old as time”. UNESCO has described it as “one of the most precious culture properties of man’s culture heritage.

  3. TajMahal The TajMahal is a white marble mausoleum located in Agra, Uttar pradesh,India .It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, MumtazMahal . The TajMahal is widely recognize as” the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage”. In 1983, the TajMahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The construction began around 1632 and was completed around 1653, employing thousands of artisans and craftmens

  4. Christ The Redeemer Christ the Redeemer is a statue of Jesus Christ. This statue is located in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Including the pedestal, the statue is 98 ft wide and 120 ft tall. Made of soapstone and reinforced concrete and was construted between 1926 to 1931, the statue weighs 635 tons, and is one of the tallest statues of its kind in the world. This statue is located at the top of the Corcovado Mountain.

  5. Colosseum The Roman Colosseum is also considered as one of the seven Wonder of the world. The Roman Colosseum is an amphitheatre. An amphitheatre is an open-air venue for sports or other performances. The Roman Colosseum is located at the center of Rome, Italy. It was the largest amphitheatre ever built in the Roman Empire. It is a giant 50,000 seat amphitheatre. Made in 2,000 years ago.

  6. Great Wall of China The Great Wall of China was built between the 5th and 16th centuries BCE. This wall was designed to protect the northern border from attacks. The Great Wall is over 4,00 miles long. The Great Wall of China also has the distinction of being one of the wonders. It controls Silk route . It is 6,259 km of actual wall, 359 km of trenches and 2,232 km of natural defensive barriers. It whole measures 21,196 km (13,171).

  7. Machupicchu Machu Picchu is an Incan site that is located in the Urubamba Valley in Peru. Machu Picchu sits on mountain ridge, and the Incans originally began building it in 1430 CE. Machu Picchu is sometimes called “ the LOST CITY OF INCANS.” built in classical Incan style, Machu Picchu has polished dry-stone walls.

  8. ChichenItza Chichen Itza is located on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. This site was built by the Maya civilization. Chichen Itza is a village and a temple complex. the architecture of Chichen Itza includes platforms, wells, plazas, pyramids, and astronomical observatory.
