  6. Main classifcations 1 - CAE Rev.1 (from 2001) - National Activity Classification Official classification, approved by the Ministry Council (obligatory use by all institutions in the Country). Bussines Register Us unities, enterprises, public administration and non profict institutions, covering legal and informal sectors, and composed by: IDENTIFICATION VARIABLES name, adress, contacts (phone, fax, e-mail), number of stableshments SITUATION AND ACTIVITY Month and year of cosntitution, Juridic form, situation of activity, activity code (main and secundary activities 5 digit) ECONOMIC VAIABLES Social capital, number of employees, turne over Participar no Censo 2007 é apoiar o desenvolvimento do País

Processement (1) All surveys are based on a national representative sample drawn from the BR Questionairs distributed and callected by the PSOD - Provincial Statistics Office Delegation (in some few cases the enterprises send personaly or by e-mail) First chek made in the PSOD and sent to the Statistics Central Office - DESE Now the computarazing process of the callected information is made twice (PSOD and DESE) – The goal is to come the a integrated data base (in process) Participar no Censo 2007 é apoiar o desenvolvimento do País

Processement (2) All surveys, has a program, in acsess, for data entre and processment where estimations (special for non response) are done Main softwares used, Excell, Acsess, SPSS STEPS OF PROCESSMENT Data validation Monthly sent of response rate to the PSOD Estimation for non responses Analisys and prodution of statistics tables for the users Sent of data base for main users (Nationa Acounts) Prodution f publications Participar no Censo 2007 é apoiar o desenvolvimento do País
