  1. Dasen Brajkovic Director of Psychiatric Services Dasen Brajkovic has been the Director of Psychiatric Services at Staten Island University Hospital since 2012. He has worked with the hospital since 2009. He has many duties in his current role, which include supervising a large staff, improving staff performance and educating and lecturing upcoming nursing and social work students. Dasen Brajkovic is focused on providing quality care for everyone. He has worked in the psychiatric field for many years and is aware of the many benefits that psychiatric treatments can offer.

  2. Dasen Brajkovic Helping The Elderly Dasen Brajkovic has always cared about helping the elderly, and began to focus on geriatric treatments while attending college. He is familiar with many of the most common diseases and mental health problems that affect the elderly and has come up with many different ways to help treat them. He believes psychiatric care can provide the relief they need. Dasen Brajkovic is well aware of the homeless problem in the United States and he believes that many of these people could improve their lives if they had the care they need. Many homeless people are in need of medication and psychiatric care.

Once a person has been diagnosed with a mental issue, disease or disorder, he or she can begin treatment and start improving their quality of life. Although many mental disorders are not curable, they can be treated and managed with psychiatric care.Dr. Dasen Brajkovic believes in giving his patients the best treatment possible. He has found that the best way to do this is by offering direct patient care. This type of treatment allows him to get closer to his patients and observe them better.
