  2. Prescriptive Reasons in Diet • Prescriptive reasons involves offering dispense food supplies. • It can be getting food for the national consumption • The goal is to get food for the institutional consumption • The target is to obtain nutritional supplementation program.

Diagnostic reasons in diet • Diagnostic reasons involves pointing out the individual or group suffering from any type of malnutrition. • Assessment of the intervention program. • The goal is to find out whether food is found in stock is sufficient for feeding household or country for some time.

  4. Advice for Women on Diet • The unborn child requires the well-nourished and healthy mother to grow in the right way. The mother wants to gain weight at the time of pregnancy to assist in the growth of baby. Women never gain sufficient weight and they have babies which has little weight. There is requirement of energy, essential fatty acids, protein, vitamin C, vitamin A, calcium, phosphorus, B vitamins, iron, copper, zinc, and iodine.
