Guide to Muster Roll Verification Process for MGNREGA

This guide details the steps for conducting Muster Roll Verification (MRV) under MGNREGA. Start by acquiring the Asset Register from the Gram Panchayat. Select two completed schemes for MRV and obtain the corresponding Muster Rolls. Data collection will be facilitated through the MGNREGA website, with the SHGs receiving details from the Block. SHGs will fill out MRV sheets in Bengali and perform field visit verifications. Finally, they must submit filled data and a detailed report to the Project Officer and BDO, along with an Action Taken Report to the District Cell.

  2. WHAT TO DO? • Get the Asset Register of the Gram Panchayat against which MRV is to be conducted through MGNREGA website. • Select two completed schemes against which MRV is to be conducted. • Get copy of Muster Rolls used in the scheme.

  3. Data Collection through MGNREGA website

  4. SHGs to be supplied the details of Muster Rolls by the Block. • SHGs to be supplied MRV sheets (Bengali) at the Block. • SHGs to fill the MRV sheets as per the Muster Rolls generated through MIS. • SHGs to do verification during field visit. • SHGs to submit filled data along with detailed report to the PO & BDO. • Payment as per guideline. • Action Taken Report along with the report in prescribed format to be submitted to the District Cell.
