  7. The only hope of health care of the people- a Govt. Health centre which lacks advanced health-care facilities like eye-care, ENT and dental care

  10. Beneficiary community – Nandigram a small town with local population of 2,000,00 composing mainly of farmer, fishermen, craftsmen etc. • Nearest referral hospital –Tamluk/ Contai, more than 60 kms away

  11. Stakeholders – • Partner Rotary Clubs (2/3 local & 2/3 abroad) • Nandigram RCC • Block Administration • R I District Authorities

  12. Objective – To provide modern treatment in Eye, ENT and dental care,both surgical and medical, under sterile environment with latest equipments and qualified doctors and medical support team

  13. Action required – Land plus a two storied building (Phase I – 350 sq ms) housing two well-equipped modern Operation Theatres along with a 20 bedded wards, dispensary and doctors, chambers by means of donating and installing all necessary equipments

  14. Heads – • Land – 670 sq.mts/ 16.5 decimal – Rs 3 lacs • Land development – Rs 3 lacs • Building & utilities –3000 x1100 = Rs 33 lacs • Equipments, furnitures - Rs 30 lacs • Working capital - Rs 6 lacs Total = Rs 75 lacs

  15. Project Cost – Rs. 75,00,000/- (estimated) • Dollar equivalent = $ 122,000/- • Local Clubs’ contribution = $ 27,000/- • Foreign clubs’ contribution = $ 33,000/- • R.I.’s matching contribution = $ 62,000/- BUILDING COMMUNITIES BRIDGING CONTINENTS
