Dr. Joshua Safeek’s Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering was closely followed by his work toward a Masters of Business Administration, which was successfully earned in 1990. Safeek, at this point, was fully developing his potential both as an engineer and as a business entrepreneur, and he was doing this while learning what could be accomplished in Nashville, Tennessee in an economic boom.

Dr. Joshua Safeek Dedicated to Supporting Sugar Prices in Guyana Dr. Joshua Safeek is dedicated to the building of the Guyanese economy, through his business interests in Georgetown, Guyana in South America. Sugar is king in Guyana, a product whose import drives the prosperity of many in the rural areas. Dr. Safeek has made a commitment to the importance of sugar to the Guyanese economy, and to resist the threat of cuts in sugar prices through work with GUYSUCO.

Academic Preparation Intrinsic to Life of Dr. Joshua Safeek Dr. Joshua Safeek was born in Georgetown, Guyana on the Atlantic coast of South America in 1964, and grew up steeped in the cultural and heritage of the Guyanese. Safeek acquired his high school diploma in 1982, as well as his technical school diploma. Deeply interested in advancing his education and developing his innate skills, Safeek acquired a Certificate of Management Skills for Engineering in 1985.

Guyanese Native Dr. Joshua Safeek Earns Education in U.S. A Bachelors of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering in 1988 attests to Dr. Joshua Safeek making the most of his time in the United States, spending 15 years in Nashville, Tennessee expanding his skills and adding to his academic knowledge through advanced degrees. A Masters in Business Administration was his in 1990, and Dr. Safeek achieved his Doctorate in Business Administration in 2005.
