  2. WHAT TO DO IF LIGHTS FLASHING OUTSIDE TANK ROOM 1 OR TANK ROOM 3 DO NOT ENTER • Assume there is a problem. • Don’t panic. • Ignore any previous instructions and still do not enter

  3. WHAT TO DO IF LIGHTS FLASHING OUTSIDE TANK ROOM 1 OR TANK ROOM 3 Immediately inform: • Paul Bridge or • Dave Wellens or • Richard Wall or • Ben Curry or • John Eardley or • Peter Kinghorn or • Security (out of hours) who will ring one of the above. They will take control of the situation.

  4. WHAT TO DO WHEN AN ALARM SOUNDS ON A TDI MONITOR Personnel must either: • Put on their approved breathing apparatus or • Personnel not issued with approved breathing apparatus to evacuate the area Then must: • Inform Supervisor / Manager immediately.

  5. IF TDI LEVELS CONTINUE TO INCREASE • Only personnel wearing breathing apparatus are allowed in the area. • Area must be isolated. • Personnel must be ready to carry out a controlled shutdown. • Once the controlled shutdown has occurred, inform the appropriate manager and evacuate non-essential personnel. • If a TDI spillage develops the plant must be shutdown and the area evacuated.
