How to move address books/groups from GroupWise to Gmail. Open GroupWise client (you cannot do this from WebMail.) Open Address Book. Select the group/book you would like to export example “Tablets.” Right click, select export . See examples for Group and Book.

  1. How to move address books/groups from GroupWise to Gmail

  2. Open GroupWise client (you cannot do this from WebMail.) • Open Address Book. • Select the group/book you would like to export example “Tablets.” • Right click, select export. See examples for Group and Book.

  3. Select Desktop as location to save file. • Give the export file a name • Select Save as type VCard (*.vcf) • Save file

  4. Open Gmail (Google, Sign in, Mail) • Go to Contacts • Select Import Contacts

  5. Click Browse button • Find file on Desktop • Click Open

  6. Once file is selected, click Import button. • This will create an import Group in Gmail.

  7. Select Imported group • Go to More and select Rename group

  8. Name group • Click OK • You are now done with that group/book. • Repeat as necessary!
