Fuel Cell Power System • PEM Fuel Cells – 25kW each • Specific Power ~ 1kW/kg • Produces 600kg H2O/day • We only need 12kg/day for human factors • 588 kg/day of excess H2O can be regenerated into H2 and O2 to reduce fuel costs. • Regenerative Fuel Cell at 70% efficiency will save 450 metric tons • Final Fuel mass with regeneration comes to 307 metric tons • STILL INFEASIBLE
