  3. Introduction • Green Turtles are one of the most rarest type of turtle species. They are also one of the largest hard-shelled sea turtle in the world.

  4. Facts About Green Turtles • Green Turtles are reptiles. Their diet is herbivore, they can grow as big as 5 ft (1.5 m), and weigh up to 700 lbs (317.5 kg). They can also live up to 80 years of age in the wild life.

  5. What do Green Turtles Eat? • Green Turtles eat pipi, muscles, starfish, plants on the sea ground, seaweed, and other little fish. Gravid turtles also feed in their nesting grounds.

  6. Green Turtles History • Not like most sea turtles, Pacific Green Turtles willingly crawl onto secluded beaches during the day to bask in the sun. Green Turtles migrate long distances between feeding sites and nesting sites. The photo in the background is a Green Turtle fossil.

  7. What a Green Turtle Looks Like • Green Turtles have a rain-dropped shaped shell and 4 legs. As well as having 2 eyes and one head, Green Turtles have short spiky tails. They also have two ears on the outside layer of their head. They're certainly not deaf.
