Introduction & Overview • It is the PEW INTERNET & AMERICAN LIFE PROJECT to determine what type of tech users the survey takers are • This survey was taken by 17 students currently enrolled at Central Connecticut State University • Our sample population consists of 3 boys and 14 girls • The survey was conducted electronically, but the data was consolidated verbally

  3. Intro continued • Mean Age: ≈ 21 years, 2 months • Median Age: 21 • Mode Age: 20 • All students in the sample live in the state of Connecticut • All participants in the study are undergraduate students

Results & Conclusion The following are the types of tech users our sample received: Digital Collaborator, Media Mover, Ambivalent Networker. • We found that the students of our class are generally very comfortable with technology and use it regularly in their daily lives. • We also found that all members of the study use their cell phones and the internet for multi-media and social purposes.

  10. Group Reflection • Although there were individual discrepancies , the overall results were not surprising. • In this day and age and in a college atmosphere, we anticipated everyone to be comfortable with technology. • Overall, our group worked very well together. We were able to each create graphs and pull the data together into a cohesive presentation. We were able to work efficiently because of our cooperation.
