IT’S TIME TO WAKE UP. . . ROM 13:11-14. INTRODUCTION. This is the hour for the Church. (Jer29:11) This is the day of great people of God. This is the moment that God is challenging the Church to be where it should be. (2 Chor 3:2) Christians – It’s time to WAKE UP ( Joel 3:9).

  2. INTRODUCTION • This is the hour for the Church. (Jer29:11) • This is the day of great people of God. • This is the moment that God is challenging the Church to be where it should be. (2 Chor 3:2) • Christians – It’s time to WAKE UP (Joel 3:9)

  3. THE DAY IS NEAR.. • It’s time for 2nd coming of JESUS/ OUT POURING OF HOLY SPRIT Acts2:1 • Great persecutions is on the way against Christians.. 2 Tim 4:1 • Christians ought to be loyal to God…Acts 5:29 • Christians – It’s time to RISE UP (ISA 52:2)

  4. PUT OFF… • PAST -Let us LAY ASIDE the deeds of darkness..v12/Eph 4:19/Gal 5:19 • PRESENT -Let us BEHAVE PROPERLY…..V13a • FUTURE – Let us MAKE NO PROVISION for the flesh….V14b/Eph 4:30 • Christians – It’s time to GIVE UP

  5. PUT ON… • Put on the NEW SELF created after image of CHRIST Col 3:10-14/Eph 4:24/Phil 2:11 • Put on the ARMOR OF LIGHT..V12b • Put on the LORD JESUS CHRIST……V14a/Gal 5:1 • Christians –It’s time to GET UP

  6. PRESS ON… • Our TIME is NOW…….v11 • Our SALVATION is near….v11b • THE NIGHT is almost gone and THE DAY is near v12 • Christians – It’s time to GEAR UP (Phil 3:12)

  7. CONCLUSION • The Lord is raising a generation that will turn to God (2 Chor 20:12) • The Lord is raising an army of mighty man of God/Woman of God to impact the spiritual world (Num 13:30) • The Lord is raising Godly community to impact the nation…..(Jer 9:23-24) • Christians – It’s time to WAKE UP because the Lord wants to SHOW UP in our midst.
