  2. Training activities in 2013 • We implemented 161 training • With a total number of 2718 participants (15.301 man/days) • 845 days of training and 2663 school lessons were carried out • With the engagement of 119 trainers

Ten most attended training • Planning priority funding areas • English language – B1 • Training of trainers for the legislative procedure • French language – A1 • Rules of written communication in administration • The basics to the European Union • Office management • Introduction to coaching – “Awakening potential in oneself and others” • General framework of IPA, IPA II (IIa and IIb) and basic principles of EU fund management under a Decentralised Implementation System within IPA Component II (DM IPA II) • Stress management • Conducting a public procurement procedure

  6. Average attendance • Each training was attended by 17 participants on average • The number of participants was lower than 15 in 95 training events, in 45 training events there were between 16 and 25 participants and over 26 participants attended 21 training

Evaluation results • Participant expectations met in full – 75,23%civil servants • Self-assessment of knowledge before and after the training – difference of+1,37 • Length of training – “long enough” – 73,30%civil servants • Applicability of the newly acquired knowledge – 4,19 • Efficiency in organizing training – 4,57 • General mark of the training – 4,50 • General mark is the average of marks for these training aspects: knowledge applicability, quality of trainer(s), training organization, discussion productivity and usefulness of the provided material Source: 1963filled-in evaluation forms

The biggest difference in knowledge levels before and after the training is in European integration thematic area (+1.66), but the participants said that the applicability of that knowledge is very low • On the other hand, the greatest applicability of new knowledge is in Training of trainers thematic area (4.43), but the difference in self-assessment levels of knowledge is the least (1.00) • This we can explain by the fact that the target group for thematic area Training of trainers is very homogeneous, as opposed to area of European integration which attracts all civil servants

  11. Trainer performance • Number of hired trainers: 119 • 12 trainers got the mark 5,00 • 101 trainers got a mark over 4,00 out of which: 15 got a markbetween 4,00-4,50 86 a mark over4,50 • Just 1 trainergot a mark lower than4,00 • For 5 trainers marks are not available

  17. Participants are most satisfied with • Method of work and the competence of trainers • Information, explanations, examples and exercises • Interaction and discussion of participants and the exchange of experience • Schedule adherence • Gained knowledge…

  18. Participants are least satisfied with • Inability to apply the newly acquired knowledge • Length of training - training should last longer • Material - it could be more comprehensive and up-to-date • Lengthy discussions on the part of some participants • Low turnout of participants...

  19. Participants` comments • There are no men, convince them to attend training • Excellent training, managers should be involved as well • Seminars should be organised outside Belgrade, so that participants could get to know each other better • You are great. Thank you!
