  2. Personal and Professional Goals • NOW: Hardworking • Graduate with high grades. • Future: Business Major • 1. Harvard University • 2. Stanford University • Because business woman can earn a lot of money. Also I like it. I think I fit this major.

  3. Important: • Promote economic development • Government need people who study business • The needs of social development

  4. Study in the America • Good study environment • More chance to see the world • American education is the best one in the world • Different study and teach style • Experience is more important than grades • Less pressure

  5. How GRCC fits into my educational and professional goals: • IESL classes can improve my English, so that I can understand what teacher say in the university. • Good environment and everyone has an adviser. We can ask questions and help us go to college. • For me, there are Business Application Specialist and Business Management, they will help me good prepare in the college.

  6. Associate in Business Degree • Minimum of 90 Credits • There are 5 classes in per quarter.

SERVICES AT GRCC • Career and Advising: • Offer numerous career assessments, resources for exploring labor market information and a variety of career related workshops and individual appointments. • Educational Planning Services • Educational Planners at GRCC provide academic and professional/technical advising.

  8. Social environment at GRCC SEATTLE: Lies on a narrow strip of land between the salt waters of Puget Sound and the fresh waters of Lake Washington. Beyond the waters lie two rugged mountain ranges, the Olympics to the west and the Cascades to the east. People here are friendly and kind. They like going outside to join the activities. Also we can go to Seattle for shopping. FAMOUSE ORGANIZATION: Microsoft and Boeing, Starbucks, Washington university

  10. Harvard University Harvard is also the alma mater of sixty-two living billionaires, the most in the country. The Harvard University Library is the largest academic library in the United States, and one of the largest in the world. Also business is the most famous major in Harvard.(NO.1)

  11. Columbia University • The camp is beautiful • Good study environment • The business major in Columbia University is great (NO.5) • Columbia University graduates and the staff of the previous 97 Nobel Prize winners, the world first place of the university.

  15. Self-Assessment • I believe that I am ready for college. Although I need to improve many skills, I think I can study here now. During this summer, I learned many things and knowledge. Also improve my English skills. I think I can live and study by myself without my parents’ supervise. • I need to improve my speaking skills before enrolling in a college program. I think my speaking skill is not very strong. When I talk to someone else, I’ll be shy or nervous. But speaking and communication is really important. • I need to hard working and do more practice. To prepare get ready for all of the classes. Before I come to GRCC, I’ll achieve academic class.
