Conflict • Every year Panem has the Hunger Games and Effie Trinket grabbed a paper out of the bowl and yelled out Prim Rose Everdeen Katniss was in shock Prim only put her name in once and Katniss put it in 24 times and Katniss said ” I volunteer as tribute’’ so now that Katniss volunteered she is now in the Hunger Games along with Peeta Mellark

Summary of Plot • This book is about a girl named Katniss Everdeen who is very brave .she is a hunter Katniss lives in District 12 , the mining district; in the country Panem, they have the Hunger Games. The Hunger Games has 24 tributes. There are two tributes chosen from each district. It’s kind of like a sacrifice game with only one victor katniss’s sister Prim Rose Everdeen was chosen to be in the hunger games, but Katniss didn’t want her to so she volunteered as tribute. Along with Peeta Mellark was chosen too. They had to get on a train and go to the capitol where the Hunger Games where held. Let THE 74TH HUNGER GAMES BEGIN!!!!!!
