  3. Estonian Archive in Stockholm • Mai Raud-Pähn – The Fantastic Inspirer • Working group of volunteers • Inspire individuals to deponate • Prepare and catalog depositions • Deponate to proper archives • Presently working with paper-documents

Where is the Estonian AV material • Estonian Archive in Stockholm (REA) • Other Estonian centers: Göteborg, Lund, Uppsala, Eskilstuna, Norrköping ……. • Archive of the Estonian-swedish Society • Swedish archives • By organizations and/or individuals (i.e. not in archives) • Not to forget: Shipped to Estonia

  5. Films • In Estonian Archive in Stockholm (REA) • Harald Perten - 49 films, 16mm, many colour • 14 of these converted to video. • 10 of these available as DVD • Need proper convertion with sound • TREASURE!!!

  12. Plans • Filmsound highest priority • Desireably H. Perten film and original sound on DVD • Establish contacts with proper archives and institutions. • Get advice and conversionhelp from them. • Decide where and how to archive

  13. Vision • A database with worldwide Estonian heritage available at a click. • Step 1. Inventory listing (extended AIS) • Establish a site with scanned photos where the Internet users can identify persons, events and time.
