Issues • Only one SSMC Meeting held. • Nil MME Utilisation. • Meal served by SHG was not served hot in all the 34 sample schools. • The children were given fixed one pao which is not as per the quantity of the meal to be served under MDM in the schools as per the grains allotted per child.
Best Practices • Involvement of women self help groups. • Lesser involvement of teachers in Mid Day Meal scheme. • Training of cook-cum-helpers. • Fire Extinguishers are provided to schools. • Display of phone number of Primary Health Centre, Fire Services, Police Station, A.D.E.I. , Director of Education and Zonal Office in every school.
