Hence if you are aiming for a high score in your IELTS speaking test, you need to understand the format of each section and extensively practice on the IELTS speaking topics and IELTS questions. You need to practice answering the most common IELTS speaking questions and take the IELTS practice test on a regular basis. Your IELTS preparation is incomplete without a thorough understanding of the different fundamentals of the English language and its variations. The IELTS speaking exam comprises the three sections namely general introductory interview, the Cue Card segment, and the follow-up questions. The first section's goal is to get the candidate ready for the IELTS exam. You will be asked some general questions about yourself and your subject of study in this section of the IELTS test, thus it is imperative that you prepare a succinct, basic introduction of yourself during your IELTS preparation. The second and most crucial part of the IELTS speaking exam is the Cue Card component. You will be given a Cue Card with a topic printed on it, and you will have two minutes to discuss it. Time yourself when practicing your answers on the IELTS exam sample questions as part of your IELTS preparation. You must prepare your answers on common IELTS speaking questions which will help you understand and strategize for this section better. You must be aware of the best ways to organize your response, place an emphasis on fluidity, and clearly communicate your thoughts which require a lot of IELTS preparation. The follow-up questions segment, which makes up the third section of the IELTS speaking test, asks you a series of follow-up questions that are based on your response to the IELTS speaking topics. Answering these IELTS questions will require you to be quick, clever and most importantly well articulated. Your IELTS exam score will soar if your comments are sufficiently compelling and thought-provoking in this area of the test, which evaluates your command of the language. IELTS speaking questions : Describe a tourist attraction that very few people visit but you think is interesting Name and location of the place : My father has a knack for visiting hidden gems of places which are not commonly visited by tourists. He likes the places because they are peaceful and away from the overcrowded tourist spots commonly visited by people.
One such place that we visited during our trip to the Himachal Pradesh was a lake called Rewalsar Lake, located in the heart of the mountains in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. Describe the place ? Rewalsar lake is a huge lake surrounded by mountains on all sides. There are Buddhist, Hindu and Sikh shrines all around the place depicting our Nation’s “unity in diversity”. The lake is filled with different types of fishes and it has a floating reed island in the middle of it. The place is so peaceful and calm that you can spend hours just looking at the ice capped mountains while feeding the gold fishes of the lake. We stayed at a hotel by the side of this lake for a day and it was truly one of the most peaceful days of our trip. We felt closer to nature, rejuvenated ourselves and gathered the energy for the rest of our trip.
