In any case, several reports from reliable sources have confirmed to us that the decision to include Falka in the second season of The Witcher has already been made. In fact, even the actress who will play the character has also been decided.
Discreet whispers and alluding eyes have turned our heads towards an actress from Scotland, Scarlett Maltman, who is known to have played roles in “River City” and very recently in “The Great.”
For now, the plan is to show Falka only through a series of mysterious visions of Ciri (played by Freya Allan). In the visions, we will see Falka in flashback scenes as the character had existed long before the events of the Netflix show.
Those who haven’t read AndrzejSapkowski’s books wouldn’t know much about Falka because the character’s history is unexplored in video games. There was a fanbase of the video games that wanted some character depth to Falka, and the word on the street is that the creator of the Netflix show, Lauren Schmidt, had noticed the popularity of the character and decided to give a closer look at it. • If you are lucky enough to read some of Sapkowski’s books, you would surely know that she is a central figure in the Witcher lore and has a history that is worthy of a proper visual adaptation.
