Born on March 3, 1950, in Johnstown, Tim Kazerinsky moved to Australia before settling in St. Louis, where he began his career as a writing executive and copywriter. In pursuit of comedy, he joined the Second City Comedy Club in 1978 and was later discovered by SNL in 1981, becoming a cast member known for his celebrity impersonations. Tim played Carl Sweetchuck in three Police Academy films and appeared in various TV shows, including "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Currently, he resides in Evanston, Illinois, with his family.

Comedy • Joined Second City Comedy Club in 1978 • Discovered by SNL in 1981and joined as a writer and cast member • Beat Paul Reubens (Pee wee Herman) for the spot • Best known for celebrity impersonations and playing a doctor with funny disease names • Left SNL in 1984 due to creative differences

  6. Movies and TV • Played Carl Sweetchuck in three of the four Police academy movies • In “Somewhere in Time”, “Moleman of Belmont Avenue”, guest on “Curb Your Enthusiasm and “”According to Jim”
