This case study focuses on an 8-year-old second grader, Lee, who entered kindergarten as a Fully English Proficient (FEP) student. Despite their professional background, Lee struggles with English verb forms, including tense disagreements and pronoun usage. Utilizing engaging matching games, students learn correct irregular verb forms through a hands-on approach. Adapted from established ESL resources, these strategies aim to support diverse language backgrounds, particularly for Asian students. The study emphasizes the importance of interactive and collaborative learning for language acquisition.
