  3. Become an Expert! • You and a partner(s) will become experts on one thing in NYC. • You will read a paragraph and do research on your phone. • Then, you will make a poster with your ideas. • You’ll teach others what you learned.

  4. Step 1: Meet Your Partner

  5. Step 2: Read and Research(8 minutes) • Read the paragraph. • Find more information on your phone. • Talk: What will you put on your poster? • Mostly drawings. • You can include 15 words!

  6. Step 3: Make Your Poster(10 minutes) • Mostly drawings • Just 15 words! • When you’re finished: • Put your poster on the wall. • Practice: Each person has to say something about your poster.

  7. Step 4: Teach • Numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4: Stand at your poster. • You’ll teach. • Numbers 5, 6, 7, and 8: • Go to posters 1, 2, 3, or 4. • You’ll listen for 1 minute. • = move to next poster • You have only 1 MINUTE to teach!
