INTAKE AND STABILITY OF RABIES VACCINE BAITS • Field trials were done: • In two regions • 100 rabies vaccine bites distributed in forest and in forest edges in spring and autumn • Weather conditions were observed and classified as follows: • sunny spring – sunlight, no rain, 11,5-21,5ºC – 9-11,5 ºC • cloudy spring – cloudy, no rain, 6,5-18,5 ºC – 1-9ºC • rainy autumn – rainy, 1-3,5 ºC – 1-2,5 ºC • cloudy autumn – cloudy, no rain, 5-8 ºC – 2-4 ºC • Intake of rabies vaccine baits was observed • Stability of rabies vaccine virus strain and bait casing was examined Day 0 Day 1 Day 3 Day 6 Day 9 Day 12 Day 15
