Checklistof IT Infrastructureat the Counting Centres • Operating System : Windows 2007 or Above / Antivirus S/w • One computer (Preferably Core 2 Duo and higher configuration) with power backup • Install .NET Framework 3.5 - Available for download at http://eci.nic.in/, Click on “Election Commission Officers Page” link on this page or go to http://eciofficers.nic.in/ and login using ARO-AC/RO-PC/CEO username and password • Install Crystal Reports Runtime - Available for download at http://eci.nic.in/, Click on “election commission Officers Page” link on this page or go to http://eciofficers.nic.in/ and login using the original ARO-AC/RO-PC/CEO username and original password which is also used for downloading the EVM Data Entry application • Internet broadband connection

  4. 1. Download Counting Application from http://eci.nic.in/, Click on “election commission Officers Page” link on this page or go to http://eciofficers.nic.in/ 2. Login using Genesys original RO-AC/RO-PC/CEO username and original password sent to you all first time by CEO office( Not the changed password)3. Under the heading “Counting Application ”, Click on “Trends and Result Dissemination Application for General Election to Parliamentary Constituencies” link to download.

  5. To Install double click the installer file “Counting Assembly Election.exe”- Open Application from(A Shortcut will also be created automatically in Desktop)All Programs->Counting Assembly Elections->Counting.exe

  6. Login Screen: It begins with validation page where the credentials entered by the RO-AC/RO-PC/CEO. You can open the manual by clicking on User Manuals link

  7. If wrong Username/password is entered, then user has to input case sensitive text from the image along with username and password.

  8. The application opens main page to display the following options under Data Entry Form for RO-AC Level User1 Enter Round Schedule2 Counting Data entry form 3 Finalising AC formData Entry Form for RO-PC Level User 1 Postal Ballot Data Entry Form2 Result DeclarationReports for monitoring purpose are available only at CEO level

  9. 1. Enter Round ScheduleInvoked from: - Login ->Data entry Form->Enter Round ScheduleEntering the scheduled number of rounds of the Assembly Segment of Parliamentary Constituencies.

  10. 2. Counting Data entry formInvoked from: - login ->Data Entry Form->Counting Data Entry(i.) Cumulative Round wise votes should be entered at each counting center.

  11. 3 Finalising AC for Each assembly segment of PCInvoked from: - Login>Data Entry Form->Finalising AC Form(i) ARO-AC has to Finalise their AC segment by clicking on Finalise AC button. (ii) Until or unless postal ballot is not finalized, Result cannot be declared by RO-PC .

  12. 1. Postal Ballot data entry form Invoked from: - Login>Data Entry Form->Postal Ballot Data Entry(i) RO-PC has to enter the postal ballot votes for each candidate for PC and click on Finalise button. (ii) Until or unless postal ballot is not finalized, Result cannot be declared .

  13. 4 Result Declaration Invoked from: - Login>Data Entry->Result Declared. Result Declared button is enabled only after postal ballots for your AC is finalized

  15. Invoked from: - Login ReportsDetail of PCs – Postal Ballot is not yet Finalized and Result Not DeclaredThis report only contains the Details of PC where postal ballot is not yet finalized and Result Not Declared.

  17. Invoked from: - Login ReportsNo of PCs – Postal Ballot is not yet FinalizedThis report only contains the Count of PC where postal ballot is not yet finalized.

  18. Invoked from: - Login ReportsList of Assembly segment of PCs – AC Segment is not yet FinalizedThis report only contains the Details of AC Segment of each PC where AC Segment is not yet finalized.

  20. Audit LogThis report contains logged in user name , system IP Address, Login date and Time, Login Status and Logout date and time.
