  2. Objective of the Study To test Phytotoxicity of eucalypt volatile oils towards weeds (Echinochloa crus-galli, Parthenium hysterophorus and Cassia occidentalis). with a view to choose them for development as a bioherbicide.

  5. Conclusions • Eucalypt oils have a weed suppressing effect. • Affect the photosynthetic and respiratory activity. • Treatment causes visible injury in the mature plants • Result in Rapid Electrolyte leakage – Membrane Integrity • Could be Used as Bioherbicide.
