FY08 Knowledge Transfer and Learning Dashboard: Graphs Cumulative through June 2008 KTL Elements Shared Drop New this Qtr: 1 O’Brien New this Qtr: 3 New this Qtr: 11 Goode New this Qtr: 1 New this Qtr: 7 Reading Reduces Medication Errors by Adopting Heparin Calculator from Tacoma • Templates shared by Tacoma and Federal Way substantially reduce development labor time and cost • Reading estimates that forty medication errors will be averted annually through use of the calculator Kentucky’s Saint Joseph Health System Identifies Best Known Practice and Adopts at All KY Locations • Weekly Live Meeting identifies “best patient information header” in Meditech; all Kentucky locations work with information systems to adopt header • Additional patient information displayed on order entry page; leads to better informed decision process and improved medication safety HIGHLIGHTS:Quarter 4 FY08 Reading Saves Time / Cost Through Use of Stroke Education Materials Obtained from Lincoln, Des Moines and Little Falls • 59,255 active users are live on LEARN, representing 31 MBOs / JOAs • On average, each user completed 4 courses in LEARN • Year to Date, 261,635 activity completions in LEARN • 90.3% of live MBOs achieved goal: > 90% of employees will login & complete a course by 06/30/08 • 19% of live MBOs have already achieved the 2nd goal for LEARN: > All instructor-led training will be tracked in LEARN • 22 of the 105 custom built courses at CHI have been shared in the content repository for re-use • Materials provided helped Reading accelerate development of their stroke education program Kearney Saves Time and Money with LEARN online videos • Leading practice for improving annual mandatory education process allows employees to access education at a convenient time and location • Less time spent in classroom / away from employee’s work area • Time Savings for Education Department by eliminating room setup time and manual course tracking time, using LEARN’s online tracking tool
