  1. pseudogap:broken particle-hole symmetry gap(rounded) phase transition

  2. superconducting state: SC gap distorted by PG

  3. next step:what is PG?what is the role of PG for SC? • Bi2201 doping dependence • ARPES: determine q, spectral weight, comparison with other experiments. • x-ray scattering, transport, Kerr effect, time-resolved reflectivity, … • Bi2212 • effect of PG on SC. mode coupling. enhancement of SC by PG?

  4. Pb-Bi2212 OP 98 K, Antinode, Antibonding Band, hn = 18.4 eV

  5. auto correlation ARPES:gap function from STM is not accurate

  6. photon energy dependence:don’t evaluate back-ground! back ground subtraction not but

  7. 3D fit 2D true spectral weight doping dependence of ImS high-energy anomaly RIXS auto correlation

  8. RIXS OUT E 130° IN E q Sample unoccupied state magnon? bimagnon? band dispersion?

  9. LSCO LBCO node

  10. other plans • Doping dependence of SC gap in overdoped Bi2212 • 16 eV • polarization dependence

  11. LBCO, Nd-LSCO, Fe-LSCO Hg-2201, 2212, 2223 Bi2223

  12. our future plan • Electron-doped cuprates • I think we should ask Felix to give a short talk about what can be interesting topics for next step. SC gap? Effects of AF. • Eliashbergeqn • We’ll discuss this topic next time. • LSCO • I’ll ask Ruihua what his future plan on LSCO is. Probably one of us should take over his project. In addition to the extension of his experiments, nodal gap, overdoped sample, high-resolution experiments on LSCO families are interesting. • Overdoped sample • PG goes into SC dome? FS topology? SC gap? • Disordered sample • Bi2201, Bi2212? I will see Hiroshi Eisaki (sample grower) next week. I’ll discuss if this is interesting project. maybe related to nodal gap. Also effects on the pseudogap can be studied based on recent our finding on PG. • Tl based cuprates, YBCO, • For YBCO, we have to get rid of surface problem. If we can get reliable data, there are a lot of literatures on YBCO which we can compare. • For Tl-2201, I’m interested in this material because it has higher Tc as a single layer cuprate.
