1. No Has it had a full charge (as specified in the manufacturer’s handbook)? If not, charge it up. Most machines will work whilst on charge but may require a few minutes charge before they will boot up. Make sure the correct charger is being used in the correct socket – it should be labelled with the equipment name. Did this work? Yes No/Not Applicable Where applicable try resetting the equipment according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Did this work? Yes No/Not Applicable Call the manufacturer’s help line. My Communication Aid Isn’t Working! Is it on? Yes Try turning it off, then turn it back on again. Did this work? Yes No Is the equipment switch operated? Try the equipment with a different switch. Did this work? Yes, Replace the Switch No/Not Applicable Where applicable reset the machine according to the manufacturer’s instructions. If this is not possible, let the equipment run down its charge and recharge before trying again. Did this work? If not see pg 2 NWAT 2010

2. Yes No/Not Applicable Call the manufacturer’s help line. Page 1 solutions have not helped. If the equipment has removable memory cards, are they fully pushed in?
