His achievements • He played for Skra Bełchatów from 2008-2012, where he won both Championship and Cup of Poland games for the season 2008 – 2009. • He played with the Poland squad who won the Bronze Medal at the 2011 WorldLeague, winning also the Best Scorer award. • He won the Gold Medal at the 2012 FIVB WorldLeague, winning also the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. • In the 2011-12 CEV ChampionsLeague, Kurek won the Best Spiker award, and the silver medal, playing with Skra Bełchatów.
