  7. Even the youngest citizens can learn about urban farming. EAT South helped an early childhood learning center build their own garden in Inner-City Montgomery.

  8. Organic gardening classes taught in the greenhouse at the downtown farm

  9. A Working Windmill pumps water to the raised beds conserving energy and resources

  10. Donated caboose was converted into office space for the downtown farm and attached deck can be used for special events

  11. A technique borrowed from Europe of Mixing Produce Trees with garden greens creates a natural canopy for tender vegatation

  12. Local corporate sponsor donated bikes and trailers to deliver produce to restaurants in the downtown area.
