  2. Dehcho First Nations Scholarships • Provided scholarships to its members since 1995 • Grown from $5,000 to $87,000 annually • Members pursuing their post-secondary education on a full-time basis are invited to submit their scholarship application for one of the following programs

  3. One $12,000 Multi-Year Scholarship • Phoebe Nahanni Memorial Scholarship • Sciences

  4. Three $2,000 Annual Memorial Scholarships • Mary Cazon Memorial Scholarship • Environmental or Land Use Planning • Mitch Landry Memorial Scholarship • Environmental & Conservation or Land Use Planning • AlbertineRodh Memorial Scholarship • Native Studies, Aboriginal Leadership or Political Science

  5. Thirty-Three $2,000 Annual Program Scholarships • Nursing Scholarship • Engineering Scholarship • Social Work Scholarship • Teacher Education Scholarship • Business Scholarship • Indigenous Arts Scholarship • General Studies Scholarship

  6. Five $1,000 Short-Term Scholarships • 12-16 week programs • Apprentices • Access Programs • HEO Training • Underground Mine Training • Environmental Training

  7. Scholarship Information • Call the Aboriginal Training Office for scholarship applications • Deadline – July 31st annually • Scholarship awards announced mid-August

  8. Seeking Members • Dehcho First Nations seeking members for the 2010-2013 Scholarship Committee • Submit your letter of interest to the Aboriginal Training Office by June 1st, 2010
