Special Prevention Service for small Companies - Legislation • AUVA was entrusted by parliament to provide a free prevention service for small enterprises • Workers Health and Safety Protection Act (ASchG) • “AUVAsicher” • Since 1. January 2000 all companies are required to have a prevention service – regardless the number of employees

Target Group of AUVAsicher • companies up to 50 employees • companies with branch offices: • up to 50 employees per office • up to 250 employees within the whole company • the employees have to be insured at the AUVA (The following sectors are exempted: railway, public services, self-employed agriculturing and farming, communities, employees in private households, public administration)
