  2. Appearance • Snowy Owls have white feathers with black dots. • Barn Owls have heart shape faces. • Great Horned Owls are brown and black with horns.

  3. Young • Eagle Owls have 2 – 4 eggs some eggs are born in January and May. • Eagle Owls are not able to walk until there 16 days old. • Barn owls sneak away from there babies and leave them alone.

  4. Habitat • Pel’s Fishing Owls live on ponds. • Snowy Owls live in the Arctic Tundra. • Fish Owls live in Africa.

  5. Diet • Fish owls eat fish. • Pel’s Fishing Owls eat fish and frogs. • Eagle Owls eat fish, mammals and insects.

  6. Wow Facts • Barn Owls have feathers on there feet and Pel’s Fishing Owls don’t have feathers on there feet! • Pel’s Fishing Owls get there food from the top of the water instead of plunging into the water! • Two Pel’s Fishing Owls hatch up to 5 days apart!
