How to Search State Master Contract Vendors: • Why we buy from Master Contracts? • It is a State priority to reduce costs by obtaining favorable contracts for products and services that many State Agencies use • How do we buy from Master Contracts? • By accessing the Illinois Procurement Bulletin/Master Contracts website: http://tinyurl.com/State-Master-Contract-Search Find a contract that we can buy from • Get the vendor Information and the Contract ID# • How do I do all that? • See slides that follow for details

How to Search State Master Contract Vendors Database • Contracts are stored by Contract Number , Contract Title , Start Date and Expiration Date • The Contract Title may or may not tell you if it has the item you want • Find the contracts that have what you are looking for using the Search Box with Key words for the item you want. (start at slide 3) • If that does not work, you can try: • Work your way down the Category ladder placing your item at each level • Try a specific T-Number category that you think has your item in it • If you find a contract title that seems to have what you want, open the Contract Number (see slide 7) • Check to see if you can buy off of this contract by checking the Agency Designation (see slide 8 and 9) • If yes, open the contract to see if they have exactly what you want and get the vendor(s) information (see slide 10 and 11)
