  8. Revision space: Find a good place to work. It should be quiet and uncluttered. Revision timetable: Draw up a revision timetable - it's crucial. It should be realistic, cover all subjects and allow you time off to relax. Make notes:Don't just read through your class work, make notes. One useful tip is to gradually condense your notes so they fit on the back of a postcard. Revision guides: Get a recommendation from your teacher as to which are most useful and then make sure you use them! Questions and answers:Write out some questions and answers to see how much you're actually remembering. Listen in: Read your notes onto a cassette and then play them walking down the street or whilst you're in bed. Prompts: Put key words and phrases on sticky notes around the house, so you'll see them often. Seek help!:Don't go it alone. They say a problem shared is a problem halved. So, get friends and family on board to help you revise. Past papers: Make sure you get hold of some past papers, they're a really good way of knowing what to expect in the exam. Relax: If you panic you're lost! The exams are going to happen so you might as well give yourself the best chance of doing well by starting to revise early and keeping calm. 10 STEPS TO REVISION SUCCESS

  15. Loving Heavenly Father, I plead with You as Your word says that You are very compassionate and will by no means cast the one who comes to You (John 6:37). You are aware of my fears and anxiety regarding my forthcoming exams. Therefore, please fill my heart and soul with Your divine presence and be the Lord of my life. During these days when I prepare for my exams, please remove all my sicknesses, lack of concentration, apprehensions, tensions, hurdles and so on and help me to concentrate in learning my lessons without wasting time, because the Bible assures, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).According to the promise, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye” (Psalm 32:8), please teach me how to study. Please sit by my side and teach me the portions which I am unable to understand. As it is promised in Your word, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him” (James 1:5), please fill me with Your divine wisdom and understanding. Grant me excellent memory power so that I can retain all that I learn and recollect it during my exam. I thank You for hearing my supplication. I lift this prayer in the matchless name ofour Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.
