  3. El recorregut d’un riu té tres trams: Curs alt Curs mitjà Curs baix El recorregut que segueix un riu és el seu curs, la quantitat d’aigua que porta s’anomena cabal i el lloc per on passa, llit.

  4. Curs alt: • És el procés més important. • Hi té lloc l’erosió ja que l’aigua va a molta velocitat. • Es va encaixant en el seu llit formant: congostos, gorges, ràpids i cascades.

  5. Curs mitjà: • Transporta sediments. • Encara erosiona i comença a sedimentar minerals. • Forma meandres, que són corbes que fa el traçat del riu per a sortejar obstacles. Quan aquests s’aïllen, s’anomenen meandres abandonats. Meandre
