  2. Proverbs 30:11-14 There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother. • [12] There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. • [13] There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up. • [14] There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.

  3. Perverse Generation • Matthew 17:17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? • Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

  4. Chosen Generation • 1 Peter 2:9-10 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: [10] Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

  5. Matthew 12:38-45 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. [39] But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: [40] For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. [41] The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

  6. [42] The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. [43] When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. [44] Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. [45] Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

  7. Inheriting the Wind • Proverbs 11:27-29 He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him. [28] He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch. [29] He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.

  8. Ancestral Sin • Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; • Exodus 34:7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

  9. Ancestral Sin • This means things that our ancestors did can affect us today! • It’s like a hereditary disease • It will continue until someone stops it! • This can happen even in a saved person • It will cause stumbling blocks and unnecessary tribulation

  10. Physical and Mental Issues • Generational sin can manifest in BOTH • John 9:2-3 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? • [3] Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. • Also some psychological problems are a result of generational sin • NOT ALL problems are a result of sin!

  11. Quote from Bill Schnoebelen • “Nor is this Biblical principle confined to your children’s moral life’ many times the sins of the parents manifest as illnesses or psychological problems. We had one situation where a child was diagnosed with “Attention Deficit Disorder”. His parents were reluctant to commit him to a prescription drug treatment without first consulting the Lord. After praying, they had our book, Masonry: Beyond the Light come into their hands. The child’s father prayed and renounced his Masonic membership (he had been an inactive Lodge member for years) and the learning disorder cleared up in days.”

  12. Aren’t we free from curses? • Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: • This only applies to the spirit man…NOT the physical man

  13. The Physical Curse • Genesis 3:16-19 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. • [17] And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; [18] Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; [19] In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

  14. Future Redemption of the Physical Curse • Romans 8:20-24 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, [21] Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. [22] For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. [23] And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. [24] For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

  15. Acts 3:19-21 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; [20] And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: [21] Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

  16. Pruning The Family Tree • Culprits in Generational Curses • Masonry (in any form) • Cults & Idolatry (Mormons, JWs, Catholic, etc) • Sexual sins (fornication, adultery, homosexuality) • The Hippy Generation • Occult involvement (Practising or participating in) • Also dabbling in the form of TV, Movies, Books, games etc) • Drugs

  17. Masonry et al • Any blood oath taken by ancestors gives devils a legal right to afflict you or infest you! • This is an oath on the flesh NOT on the spirit • Devils can be passed from one generation to another because of oaths or involvement • Oaths are made in Masons, Mormons, JWs, Catholicism, Islam and ALL idolatrous faiths

  18. Sexual Sins • Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. • Matthew 19:5-6 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? [6] Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. • 1 Cor. 6:16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

  19. STDs – Sexually Transmitted Devils • When we see that two become one it is understood that devils will also be transmitted and thus both parties will have the same type of devils. • Thus, when all the “free love” was going around so were many many devils. • This is the major way to recruit into satanism, by fornicating and passing on devils to invest the person and lead them to the occult.

  20. A Result Also • Not only can devils get in through sexual sins, they can CAUSE sexual sins. • Fornication, Adultery & homosexuality can also be CAUSED by demonic infestation. • Private sexual sins are also a result of demonic activity and ALWAYS have a adulterous motive. • People will end up with a Perverse Spirit and a Spirit of Bondage

  21. Characteristics • People with a spirit of bondage can have: • Anger issues • Extreme mood swings at the slightest incident • Extreme cleanliness or filthiness • Loss of control in their behaviour or emotions • Personality changes • Extreme need for ‘alone time’ or ‘me time’ • Everyone needs some time to themselves but it should not be obsessive

  22. Occult Involvement • This also can include blood oaths • It can be as simple as ‘playing’ with a Ouija board but this is extremely dangerous • Giving access through: • Tv, Movies etc • Music • Games (electronic or otherwise) • Rituals (Witch craft, pagan, mass etc) • Fortune Telling (Cards, Horoscopes, psychics etc) • Divination (Divining rods or pendulum)

  23. Drugs • Any involvement in illicit drugs can open doorways to devils • It alters the mind and in extreme cases can alter DNA to produce defects in children • A spirit of bondage is always involved in addictions

  24. Deliverance • 2 Cor. 4:1-2 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; [2] But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

  25. Breaking Curses • We must ask for God to break the curses • Then Shut the doors of access • Then cover the doors in the blood of Jesus • And then seal them with the Holy Spirit • These doors can NEVER be reopened by the devils. • However, WE can open other doors if we go back to those things.

  26. “Father God, in Yehowshuwa’s(Jesus’) name, I humbly ask you to cleanse me from everything I have inherited of an evil nature from my parents, my grandparents, my great-grandparents, and my great great-grandparents, all the way back eleven generations (Dt. 23:2). I refuse to have anything from Satan in my life. • Please BREAK those lines of inheritance and seal them off with the blood of the Lamb, shed on the cross of Calvary. “Father, in Yehowshuwa’s(Jesus’) mighty name, I command any evil spirits which may be troubling me or my family because of generational curses to now leave me at once. I especially come against the spirits of (mention here any known occult or sinful practices in ancestry: Masonry, suicide, adultery, etc.). • I renounce, in Yehowshuwa’s(Jesus’) name, any oaths taken by my ancestors in sinful organizations (such as the Masons, Mormons, etc.) and declare that they have no more power over me or my family. I command any evil spirits troubling me or my family because of generational curse to leave US AT ONCE IN Yehowshuwa’s(Jesus’) mighty name. I command you to go where the Lord Yehowshuwathe Messiah tells you to go by the voice of His Holy Spirit”.

  27. Deliverance • If we have been involved in these things personally then we too need to break curses and bonds and shut doors • We need to ask the Lord’s forgiveness for our participation • Close the doors etc • Rid our lives of the devils

  28. Sample Prayer • “Father God, in Jesus’ name, I humbly ask you to forgive me more my involvement in ???. I confess this as a sin to you and thank You for your forgiveness. “Father, in Jesus’ mighty name, I command any evil spirits troubling me or my family because of this past sin to leave us at once, never to return. I command you to go where the Lord Jesus Christ tells you to go by the voice of His Holy Spirit.”

  29. Closing Doors • Father God, Forgive my involvement in ??? • I close the door to ??? and cover it with the Blood of Jesus and I seal it with the Holy Spirit never to be reopened. I come against any spirits that have entered in to me or have access to me in the Name of Jesus and weaken them with the Blood of Calvary and bind them together as one and command them to leave and go where the Lord Jesus Christ tells them to go by the voice of the Holy Spirit. I command all darkness to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
