  2. Laure Manaudou is a French Olympic, world and European champion swimmer • She was born on October 9th, 1986 in Villeurbanne, in France. • She has held the world record in freestyle between 200 and 1500 meter, during the years 2004-2007.

  3. She won the first French gold medal in women’sswimming, for the 400 meterfreestyleatAthensOlympics in 2004. Shealso won the silvermedal in the women’s 800 meterfreestyle and the bronze medal in the women’s 100 meterbackstroke. • She won 3 gold medalsat the 2004 EuropeanSwimmingChampionships, and hewomen’s 400 meterfreestyleat the 2005 World AquaticsChampionships.

  4. She broke many records between 2004 and 2007. • At the 2007 World Swimming Championships in Melbourne, she won 5 medals ! The same year, she won 4 medals in the European Championships • Her brother Florent, also a swimmer, is an Olympic champion of the 50 meter freestyle.

He won his most prestigious title, the Masters of Paris-Bercy, which thus gave him access for the first time to Shanghai Tennis Masters, a tournament when he reached the final in London in 2011 for his second participation. • During his career, he won 10 singles titles and 4 doubles titles. In February 2005, he was the 5th best players of the world.
