  2. UNITE Program INTENT Use Force Support capabilities to: • Support CSAF’s Squadron Vitality initiatives • Help commanders build/strength unit cohesion in Air Force units Primary focus is on units—rather than individuals Command teams must “create an environment where every Airman believes he/she is a warfighter who belongs to a high-powered and respected team doing meaningful work.” While it’s true that we lots of time together in close quarters which presents ample opportunity to get closer to your unit members, developing team cohesion takes much more than that. Cohesion comes when you actively engage in meaningful conversations and capitalize on chances to build trust. Just as with close personal relationships, it takes intentional effort to create the genuine connections that will help your unit function effectively. Participating in positive team building activities is a great way to create this cohesion. Integrity  Service  Excellence
